Talenter™ has always been very concerned with the human side of personal relationships, and this is now more than a business project. From this perspective, we undertake, develop and co-participate in a diverse and rewarding set of Social Responsibility projects.
Ponto Imigrante: Immigrant Local Support
The Immigrant Point was born from the great concern that Talenter™ has had, ever since its incorporation, with the adequate integration into the labour market and society, of employees originating from different cultures and nationalities.
As a result of this the “Vamos Utopiar” project was created, an initiative that involved five companies from different social spheres: ACIDI, LUSOTEMP, AMRT, GRAAL and AGP, brought together for a common cause, equality for immigrants and ethnic minorities in Portuguese society.
On 19th November, 2006, in a direct partnership with ACIDI, the Immigrant Spot was inaugurated. In its first three and a half years of activity, it has helped more than 8,800 people.
The Immigrant Spot is located on the premises of Talenter™, in Algés and it aims to provide support to immigrant workers scattered across the country, responding to their many information needs, with face-to-face human contact and on time.
Services Available at Immigrant Point
The services available at Immigrant Point are accompanied and managed by trained mediators that ensure personalized support tailored to different needs.
Using the SOS Immigrant Telephone Line and the online ACIDI’S CLAI Community platform, Talenter™ is fully integrated in the National Immigrant Support Network.

Talenting™ Club
Formerly called Gathering Point, Talenting™ Club is an initiative of an informal group of workers who, in partnership with the Immigrant Point project, organize activities promoting interaction and contact between individuals, aimed at countering the dehumanization and precariousness of human relationships.
The first event organized by Talenting™ Club took place on the 26th of August 2007, with a visit to Fátima. In two years, several events, meetings, tours and trips have been organized throughout the country.
Talenter™ wants to deepen and diversify this space where cultures and generations meet, creating dynamic activities aiming to consolidate the universe of people brought together by Talenter™.
Especially dedicated to members of Talenting™ Club, their facebook page shares information and makes content of mutual interest available.
Partnership with UNHCR and Founding Member of HELPIN
The mission of UNHCR - United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is to ensure the international protection and procure durable solutions for the problems of refugees around the world, ensuring the protection of their rights and their survival. Recent years have been particularly difficult, on a worldwide scale, with increasingly frequent and violent disasters.
There are currently approximately 43.3 million refugees and people under UNHCR care, who have been forced to leave their homes, victims of armed conflicts, persecution and other human rights violations and also due to climatic disasters.
HELPIN - Portuguese network of UNHCR Partners for the International Help of Refugees
On the 22nd of July, 2008, Talenter™ signed a protocol with UNHCR, becoming a Founding Member of HELPIN. Ever since, we’ve supported this urgent cause, in a partnership based on financial donations, equipment, resources to support fundraisers and access to all training courses promoted by the group. This contribution allows UNHCR to unite some of the basic means to continue to respond to refugees’ urgent needs, including their proper, efficient and rapid integration.
