The Challenge? We are recruiting a Maintenance Assistant (M/F/D) for a client company of reference in the industrial sector, located in Barcelos. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to start or develop a career in industrial maintenance. The selected person will join the maintenance team and receive on-the-job training and guidance, with the goal of progressing to the position of Maintenance Technician. What You Will Do: Support the maintenance team in performing preventive and corrective maintenance work on industrial equipment and installations; Assist maintenance technicians in identifying and resolving faults; Support the repair, replacement, and fine-tuning of components and equipment; Monitor the operation of equipment and help identify areas needing intervention; Learn and develop knowledge in the areas of electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, and other industrial systems; Follow safety procedures and internal quality and organization standards; Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams in resolving technical problems; Take part in a continuous learning process aimed at evolving to the role of Maintenance Technician. What We Are Looking For: Professional training or knowledge in the field of Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity, Industrial Maintenance, or similar; No previous work experience in industrial maintenance is required; Knowledge of or interest in electronics and/or mechanics; Will to learn and develop skills in industrial maintenance; Sense of responsibility and commitment; Ability to work in a team; Dynamism, initiative, and proactivity; Motivation to build a career in the field of maintenance.
