Talenter adds 364 hours of volunteering and transforms the Trafaria Social Center

Talenter mobilized 78 of its employees for a full day of active solidarity on April 1st at the Centro Social da Trafaria, an institution managed by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Almada. In total, 364 hours were dedicated to volunteering, in a true exercise of citizenship and commitment to the community.

Under the motto of “humanizing talent with real impact”, the Talenter team rolled up their sleeves and brought to life several initiatives in the space: painting the Parque das Reminiscências, organizing intergenerational activities, and preparing meals. The action also had the support of the Brigada do Mar and the presence of institutional representatives from the Santa Casa.

Even before the action began on the ground, solidarity was already evident: 241 kg of food and hygiene items were collected, distributed according to the needs identified by the Centro Social.

“This action represents more than just helping. It represents our DNA: believing that talent is also expressed in the ability to care, share, and create a positive impact,” said Ricardo Pires, CEO of Talenter.

The initiative is part of the company’s social responsibility strategy and is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 1, 2, 10, 14, and 17), reinforcing Talenter’s role as an active agent in building more cohesive and inclusive communities.

“At Talenter, we believe that ‘WE CARE INTO CAREERS’ also means caring for the communities where we operate, building bridges between generations, and giving back to society what it gives us: talented people with a desire to do more,” the team responsible for organizing the action also highlighted.

More than the visible improvements in the space, there remains the mark of a day when talent left the office and took shape in concrete gestures of empathy, proximity, and social commitment.
