Talenter appoints Carla Sousa Business Director of the Services Unit, strengthening the leadership of one of the company’s most relevant business areas.

Carla Sousa takes over the direction of one of the company’s main business areas, responsible for supporting dozens of clients and hundreds of employees across the country, with a focus on flexibility and proximity.

The Talenter has strengthened the leadership of its Services Business Unit with the appointment of Carla Sousa as Business Director. The hiring is part of the company’s specialization strategy, which aims to consolidate one of its most relevant business areas, responsible for providing training, recruitment, temporary work, and talent management solutions to companies in various sectors.

Currently, the Services Unit represents 14.4% of Talenter’s business volume, with an annual turnover of 13 million euros. The unit supports more than 70 clients, mainly in the Lisbon and Porto regions, ensuring the daily management of over 650 employees allocated to projects developed across the entire national territory.

With over two decades of professional experience, Carla Sousa has built a solid career in commercial management, business development, and Human Resources. Holding a degree in Logistics Management, a master’s in SME Management, and certified in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, she began her career at Delta Cafés, later moving to COPAM before joining GI Group, where she gained extensive experience in managing operations, temporary work, outsourcing, and developing major accounts.

Throughout her career, she has held positions such as Agency Director, Key Account Manager, and Area Manager, leading multidisciplinary teams and high-complexity projects in the Industrial & Logistics and Outsourcing areas.

At Talenter, she will be responsible for driving the growth of the Services Unit, strengthening proximity with clients and employees, promoting specialized solutions, and developing teams focused on operational excellence.

“I take on this challenge with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility. I believe that organizations grow when they can build trusting relationships, develop people, and simplify processes. My goal is to continue strengthening the Services Unit, contributing to the sustainable growth of the business, high-performance teams, and solutions that add real value to our clients,” says Carla Sousa, Business Director of Talenter.

For Nuno Cochicho, COO of Talenter, this appointment represents a strategic reinforcement of the leadership of one of the company’s most relevant areas. “The services unit is one of the operations with the greatest potential at Talenter and requires experienced leadership, close to people, and results-oriented. Carla has these characteristics, combining a deep knowledge of the Human Resources sector with a strong ability to develop business, lead teams, and create lasting relationships with clients. We are confident that she will make a decisive contribution to the next phase of growth of this unit.”

The new Business Director advocates for close, transparent, and responsible leadership, believing that the success of organizations depends on the ability to develop people and create committed teams.

Outside of her professional context, Carla Sousa finds her main refuge in her family. Mother of a son, passionate about travel, sports, and creating new experiences, she believes that balance between personal and professional life is essential for more conscious, humane, and sustainable leadership.

With a presence throughout the country and in Madeira, Talenter aims to reach 90 million euros in turnover by 2026, placing around 6,000 professionals annually and working with over 600 active clients, reinforcing its position as one of the leading Portuguese companies in the talent management area.
