Talenter strengthens its focus on the agri-food sector with a new business unit and aims to reach 10 million euros in revenue.

Talenter has just launched a new business unit dedicated to the agri-food sector, reinforcing its strategy of diversification and sector specialization. The new area joins the already consolidated units of Civil Construction, Hospitality, Industry, Logistics, and Services, expanding the company’s capacity to meet the needs of one of the most relevant and dynamic sectors of the Portuguese economy.

With this investment, Talenter aims to provide specialized solutions for Recruitment & Selection, Temporary Work, and Talent Management, supporting companies in this new area in responding to the challenges of attracting, integrating, and retaining professionals.

Specialization to address market challenges

The agri-food sector continues to establish itself as one of the main drivers of the national economy, representing approximately 7.9% of the Portuguese business fabric and employing over 300,000 people. Despite the sustained growth of activity and exports, companies continue to face significant challenges related to labor shortages and the difficulty in attracting qualified profiles.

It is in this context that the new agri-food unit of Talenter is born, which will be particularly focused on the regions of Central Coast, Alentejo, and Algarve, where the sector’s activity is most prominent. The approach will be based on proximity, quick response, and deep knowledge of the specific needs of this industry.

A new step in the growth strategy

For Nuno Cochicho, COO of Talenter, the launch of this unit represents “a natural step in the company’s growth strategy,” reinforcing the focus on specialization and the creation of solutions tailored to the needs of strategic sectors of the Portuguese economy.

In the medium term, Talenter estimates that this new business unit could represent a revenue potential of 10 million euros. The company expects to achieve a revenue volume of 90 million euros by 2026, maintaining a strategy of sustained growth and investment in areas of high specialization.

With a presence throughout the national territory and in Madeira, Talenter continues to strengthen its position as a reference partner in talent management, developing increasingly specialized solutions to meet the needs of the sectors that drive the Portuguese economy.
