Carla Silva assumes the role of Business Manager to lead the commercial and operational development of one of the company’s most recent strategic bets, in a sector facing increasing challenges in attracting and managing talent.
Following the launch of its new business unit dedicated to the agri-food sector, the Talenter announces the arrival of Carla Silva as Business Manager, strengthening the structure responsible for the development of one of the company’s strategic bets for the coming years.
Created to meet the growing needs for recruitment, temporary work, and talent management in the agri-food sector, the new unit represents another step in the Talenter‘s specialization strategy and aims to achieve, in the medium term, a turnover of 10 million euros. The operation is particularly focused on the regions of Centro Litoral, Alentejo, and Algarve, where agri-food activity is more relevant.
In a sector that continues to face difficulties in attracting and retaining professionals, the unit will support companies in recruiting profiles such as agricultural operators, production and packaging operators, quality technicians, maintenance technicians, production managers, and other specialized professionals, meeting the needs of an increasingly demanding and competitive sector.
With a professional career of nearly two decades in Human Resources, Carla Silva brings to the Talenter consolidated experience in operational management, business development, and team leadership. After a four-year professional experience in Switzerland, she began her career in Portugal in the Temporary Work sector, where she quickly assumed increasing responsibilities in recruitment, payroll, invoicing, client management, and commercial development.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management at the University of Algarve, she now takes on the mission of contributing to the structured growth of the Agri-Food unit, promoting close relationships with clients and candidates, and consolidating the Talenter‘s positioning as a strategic partner in talent management for this sector.
“I accepted this challenge because I believe in the potential of this business unit and in the Talenter’s ability to make a difference for companies and people. I come with an open mind to learn from those who are already part of the team and with a very clear objective: to work as a team to deliver an excellent service that responds closely, quickly, and effectively to the needs of our clients and collaborators. I want to contribute to the sustainable growth of the Agri-Food unit, building trust relationships and solutions that create real value for the market,” says Carla Silva, Business Manager of the Talenter.
For Nuno Cochicho, COO of the Talenter, this hiring represents an important step in consolidating the new business unit. “The launch of the Agri-Food unit represents a strategic bet for Talenter and requires professionals with deep market knowledge, leadership capacity, and strong customer orientation. Carla brings these competencies, combining solid experience in Human Resources with a very pragmatic vision of the business. We are certain that she will play a decisive role in affirming this unit and achieving the growth objectives we have defined for this project.”
Born in Faro, Carla Silva believes in close, transparent, and people-oriented leadership. Passionate about new challenges, she finds inspiration for her personal and professional balance in family, travel, and the sea, advocating that trust relationships and continuous development of people make teams and organizations grow.
The arrival of the new Business Manager accompanies the Talenter‘s growth plan, which aims to achieve 90 million euros in turnover by 2026, a 12.5% growth compared to the previous year. With a presence throughout the national territory and in Madeira, the company annually places around 6,000 professionals and works with over 600 active clients, reinforcing, with this new unit, its capacity to meet the needs of the most strategic sectors of the Portuguese economy.
