António Lopes is Business Director of the Civil Construction area and has been part of Talenter for 23 years.
His academic journey began in 1993 with technical-professional training in Building and Construction, which gave him the solid foundation to enter the Civil Construction sector early on.
Professionally, he started in 1989 with an internship at an architecture studio, but quickly embraced large projects in companies such as Teixeira Duarte and Bento & Pedroso, where he joined teams on reference works like the Trofa/Guimarães Junction, the A23 (Montalvo–Abrantes) and the A8 (Torres Vedras–Bombarral). Later, he participated in the construction of the Colombo Shopping Center, one of the largest developments of the time, and dedicated himself to overseeing works at AFAPLAN. In 2002, he joined Talenter (then Lusotemp), where he has developed a solid and highly impactful career.
Since 2021, he has led the business unit dedicated to Civil Construction at Talenter, taking on the responsibility of managing a demanding and dynamic area, marked by constant challenges. The focus is clear: maintaining long-lasting relationships of trust with clients, ensuring proximity with workers, and finding solutions that add value to the sector.
With an eye on the future, the goal is to continue contributing to the growth of Talenter and Wellow, always aligned with the guidelines of the Administration and with a spirit of resilience.
“I feel a deep pride in having built this career at Talenter/Wellow over 23 years and in having had the opportunity to grow as a professional. It is a true privilege to work in a company where it is possible to evolve, be heard, and actively contribute to collective success. I hope to continue giving my best in the coming years, helping the company to grow and overcome new challenges.”
Outside of work, his passion for nature and family takes center stage. Whenever he can, he trades the environment of construction sites for the freedom of the road or trails, cycling on a road bike or mountain bike, finding there the balance and energy that he also brings to his professional life.
