Sustainability

At Knower™ we are aware of the importance of sustainable management and the strong impact it has on the environmental, economic, and social development of society.

We define a set of strategic guidelines that are aligned with some of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations: Eradication of Poverty (01), Health and Well-being (03), Gender Equality (05), Decent Work and Economic Growth (08), Reduction of Inequalities (10), and Action Against Global Climate Change (13).

Environment

The optimization of resources, energy efficiency, reuse, and recycling are the pillars of the company’s environmentally responsible management, which seeks to reduce the environmental impact of its activity in the present and contribute to the quality of life of future generations.

Contributing to the adaptation and mitigation of climate change and to the prevention and control of pollution are the main principles of the Green Taxonomy adopted by Knower™.

Monitoring and controlling the use of water or energy resources, promoting recycling, and gradually replacing the vehicle fleet with the acquisition of electric vehicles instead of those that use fossil fuels are some of the measures currently in progress.

The digitalization process is also an important measure with positive results in the dematerialization of processes and the consequent reduction of paper and consumables.

The companies of Knower™ have environmental certification by the ISO 14001 standard.

Economic Sustainability

Our management policies are aimed at creating financial and social value for all our stakeholders and for the community in which we are involved.

We guide our actions by ethical, legal, and moral rigor and invest in the social and economic growth of people through sustainable resource management.

People and Society

Aware of the impact we have on our community, we aspire and dare to affirm that we are agents of transformation in the way we work.

We seek to inspire and raise awareness among as many people as possible – whether they are clients, our candidates and employees, partners, suppliers, or even other companies – to join us on this path where we only move forward if we decide, every day, to make more sustainable choices.

We implement a set of actions to develop inclusive, fair, and diverse communities and improve access and success for everyone in the world of work.

Our commitment is simple: to make the job market a space of opportunities and the brightest possible future for all those who dedicate themselves to mastering it. To this end, we rely on projects such as the Knower™ Tech Academy and other differentiated recruitment processes with the Re:starter® seal (which promote the labor integration of groups with greater difficulty in (re)entering the job market, such as long-term unemployed individuals, seniors, people with disabilities, or migrants).

Diversity and Inclusion

We believe that by prioritizing a team with colleagues of different experiences, backgrounds, ages, and perspectives, we are enhancing our capacity for innovation, productivity, and responsibility.

We promote equitable management of our people, ensuring representation, equality, and participation of all individuals, by creating emotional, physical, and technical conditions to foster their talent.

We create a space based on the accountability of all and the autonomy of each individual to be the best version of themselves:

  • Flexible hours to allow for better integration between personal and professional life
  • The workplace is the one that best meets the needs of the colleague and/or the task to be performed – whether remote, in-person, or even in another room or collaborative desk within the office
  • Minimum salary of the Wellow™ Group above the National Minimum Wage – in 2022, the minimum value will be 800€ for internal teams.

Equal Opportunities

At Knower™, we bet on the merit, competence, and potential of our people, regardless of gender. Our focus is to ensure equal opportunities for our employees.

74% Of women in the Knower® internal team
50% Of female and male leadership

We have achieved gender parity in the leadership of our internal team, with 50% of top management roles being held by women.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We develop various social initiatives aimed at reducing social inequalities and poverty in multiple areas, such as conducting campaigns to raise and donate goods, actions to promote employability, or raising awareness on various topics.

The initiatives have in common the creation of partnerships with institutions and other social organizations.

Volunteering

The volunteering program aims to promote active citizenship and the spirit of solidarity among employees, through participation in individual or collective volunteering actions. Volunteering actions can be carried out through the availability of skills or the allocation of work hours (minimum 4 hours/year) by the employee for a specific action, often allocated to environmental or social initiatives.
