2023 By Positiva

Emerging from the first pandemic in the full digital age, we were, absurdly, hit by a purposeless and senseless war in 2022. For many companies, 2022 was a year in which initial perspectives had to be readjusted monthly due to the unpredictability that the war brought, especially with the brutal increase in energy and food prices. Most businesses managed to stay afloat (some even grew), largely due to the need we all felt to regain our freedom after nearly 24 months of semi-confinement.

But what can we expect from 2023?

In this year that is now beginning, we face a galloping inflation rate, bank interest rates growing disproportionately, and a more than predictable loss of individual purchasing power and business investment capacity.

But everything will be so much worse if we resign ourselves, give up, or think there is nothing within our reach that dares to challenge all this. It is time to believe in ourselves, in our abilities, and to turn difficulties into challenges and achievable goals.

In crises and difficulties, there are two types of people: those who cry, and those who sell handkerchiefs. In 2023, companies will need much more of the latter.

In a market that will inevitably be characterized by almost exclusive analysis of the price factor, the companies that will have the most success will be those whose people are best prepared to create value again, whether through the attention given to each client or through empathy and a sense of mutual support in developing their businesses. Creating value will still be very much about the digital leap, which will allow all stakeholders to gain productivity and consequently time and profitability.

Internal teams must be 200% focused on meeting the needs of clients, without ever forgetting the needs that employees will face this year. It is essential to listen to people, understand their problems, and be on the front line of assistance in every way. Companies are a reflection of the human condition in which their employees live, and it is crucial to have healthy companies at all levels.

Commitment, mutual support, and the will to win will be the mottos for 2023.

We will be here to help you succeed.
